In this photo taken during the first week of July, are 2 colors of Indian Paintbrush, Columbine, Wildrose (white), and Bluebells. Yankee Boy Basin was an active mining district in the 19th century, now mostly dormant, and an area that attracts wildflower enthusiasts and photographers from all over the world.
